NCPF Executive Committee Meetings
Takes place when necessary at the Norwood SAPS Barracks Boardroom.

NCPF Public Meetings
Takes place on the last Wednesday of the Month, 18:00 at the Norwood SAPS Barracks Boardroom.
This meeting is open to every person in the community and everybody is welcome to attend it.

Sector Crime Forum Meetings

Sector 1 and 3 – 18 November
Sector 2 and 4 – 17 November

The Sector Crime Forums form part of the Sector Policing concept of the Norwood SAPS. Sector Policing is a national crime prevention strategy that focuses on involving the community in crime prevention initiatives.

The Sector Crime Forum will put strategies in place to address crime in their area. They will identify hotspots and problem areas with the help of the police and distribute this information to the rest of their sector. The SCF will also look at illegal taxi ranks, vagrants, loiterers and other factors that influence crime in the sector.

The Sectors
The Norwood Precinct is divided into 4 sectors and every sector has a dedicated Sector manager who is a member of the police force.

Sector 1 and 3 combined Crime Forum Meetings
Takes place Wednesday of the second last week of the month, 18:00 at the Norwood Police Barracks Boardroom.
Sector 1 consists of the following suburbs:
Houghton Estate, Melrose, Melrose North, Melrose Estate, Birdhaven, Riviera, Birnam
Sector 3 consists of the following suburbs:
Norwood, Oaklands, Cheltondale, Orchards and Gardens

Sector 2 and 4 combined Crime Forum Meetings
Takes place Tuesday of the second last week of the month, 18:00 at the Norwood Police Barracks Boardroom.
Sector 2 consist of the following suburbs:
Waverly, Highlands North, Highlands North Ext, Hawkins Estate, Abbotsford and Rouxville
Sector 4 consists of the following suburbs:
Linksfield, Linksfield North, Linksfield Ridge, Mountain View, Sydenham, Fairwood, Victoria and Fellside
